UPAV Congress: 11 - 12 August 2017

Unusual Pets and Avian Veterinarians (UPAV), a special interest group of the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) are for veterinarians who have an interest in birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish and amphibians. This is an area that is growing as a science, with more and more research undertaken in Australia and around the world -

The UPAV Congress streams at FASAVA 2017 will be held on Friday 11 August and Saturday 12 August and will focus on the cutting edge of avian, reptile and exotic pets medicine, catering for everyone from the most experienced vets all the way through to those starting out.

VNCA Advanced Veterinary Nursing Congress: 12 - 13 August 2017

The Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia is pleased to present the first VNCA Advanced Veterinary Nursing Congress. The Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA) aspires to strengthen the position of veterinary nurses as part of the veterinary health care team.

This event is provided for the experienced or advanced level veterinary nurse and the congress will provide opportunities for experienced veterinary nurses to learn from each other, present new techniques and network with colleagues and suppliers in the veterinary industry within both Australia and internationally.
